At Nehemiah Bible Church, we believe the Communion Table is only for believers in Christ Jesus. It is a time of reflection upon the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, as well as, a time to confess and repent of sin. We take the sacraments together once per month on the first Sunday of each month.

 

Communion is one of two ordinances the church body is commanded to practice until the Lord's return.

 

According to our bylaws,

1. We believe that the communion of the Lord’s Table is the partaking of the bread and the cup by believers in remembrance of the death of Christ in our behalf; that it is to be observed until He comes. (I Corinthians11:23‑32; Matthew 26:26‑29)
